An actual mini-music festival in 2020
It a was such a pleasure to be in a field watching and shooting live music in 2020. The Lockdown Mastered mini-music festival in Portsmouth, organised by Portsmouth City Council, Square Roots Promotions (thanks Ken Brown) and the Wedgewood Rooms (thanks Geoff Priestly). A socially distanced affair with crowd-bubbles literally in bubbles marked on the ground. Nice to shoot some stills at sound check as well… to really keep my distance from the crowd.
Headlined by Katy Hurt, first time I’d seen her genuine country twang, and supported by local talent and all round nice bloke, Matthew Harrison, of Somewhere in the Wildwood. Lovely.

And Matthew Harrison, backstage pre-gig and gallery on stage.

And some images of the socially distanced crowd, and lovely to see an outdoor music stage in 2020 :-)
